Weekly demos, not quarterly plans.

Every Friday someone shows what they built. Plans that survived contact with the week get rewritten on Monday. No Jira death marches.

02 · Taste is a responsibility

Craft is not optional.

We spend the extra afternoon on the animation, the error message, the empty state. Freight professionals have been shipped soulless tools for forty years. Not on our watch.

03 · Write the decision down

Documents are how we scale.

Design reviews, ADRs, postmortems — all written, all archived, all replayable. Meetings are for the ambiguous part; documents carry the rest.

04 · Customer adjacency

Ride the truck.

Every engineer spends a day in a dispatch office or a cab in their first 90 days. You can't build a dispatch agent if you've never seen a dispatch board at 5am.

How we hire

Four steps. Two weeks. No tricks.

Step 1
Intro — 30 minutes.

A founder reads your application and calls you. We talk about what you've built and what you want to build next. No HR screens.

Step 2
Paid work sample — ~8 hours.

A real, bounded problem from our backlog. You keep the IP if we don't move forward. We pay $1,500 for your time, always.

Step 3
Team day — half a day.

You meet three future teammates. You present your work sample; we whiteboard an adjacent problem. No gotcha interviews, no algorithms trivia.

Step 4
Offer + references.

You call two people we worked with; we call two people you worked with. Then we send paper. Exploding offers are a sign someone doesn't trust their own decision — we don't do them.
